visiting the yorkshire dales in england

I’m having a lovely time showing my moseyman where I’m originally from – the Yorkshire Dales (England), even though we just lost to Italy in today’s Euro Cup match!

Here are a few photos from our trip so far. Hope you’re having a wonderful weekend!

This is a Bolton Abbey sheep. Doesn’t he look like he’s ready for a wool cut?

Here’s me walking through Malham Cove. All the streams had very strong currents that day since it rained for a straight 24-hours the day before!

I just loved this picture of the moody cows and the moody skies.

Hipster bull came to greet us at our car while driving back from from our hike!

a few of my favorite chairs

I’m always on the lookout for beautiful pieces of furniture. I mostly just love to look though. Here are a few of my favorite pinned chairs this week.

Love the shape of this beautiful mint barstool

DIY entryway table idea

Ever since we moved into our new apartment, I’ve been on a DIY kick. We made this coat rack with matching bench for the entry way and now I’m thinking of trying this cute, affordable DIY sideboard update. What do you think? Do you go through DIY phases?

BEFORE: cheap Ikea sideboard

AFTER: painted & well styled Ikea sideboard

perfect short wedding dress

Sometimes I find dresses that make me want to get married all over again. Does this ever happen to you?
So if Moseyman and I were to have our elopement in Cypress all over again, or even throw another wedding party, this dress would definitely be a contender.

this week’s favorite living room pins

While waiting for the novelty of Pinterest to wear off, here are a few of my favorite living room pins this week.

1. I have an ongoing obsession with Emily Henderson and her inspiring thrifty styling.

2. I’m into the floating storage and casually framed wall peeking out behind the sitting area of this living room.

3. Feeling the warmth of the light shining through the pretty linen curtain panel. It creates the coze in that reading nook.

4. So small, so white and so cute. This living room tells me weird shaped spaces can work out really well.
